Anna to decide on tour against corruption

New Delhi: Anna Hazare on Sunday night said the civil society representatives will decide on Monday whether he should first undertake a nationwide tour against corruption before undertaking fast if a strong Lokpal bill is not ready.

"We will see tomorrow whether we should undertake the (nationwide) tour first," the social activist said after he arrived in New Delhi to attend Monday's crucial meeting between representatives of civil society and Government on Lokpal bill.

New Delhi, Jun 16 : Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare today once again threatened to restart his protest here in the wake of government's "non-seriousness" towards Jan Lokpal Bill, a day after Lokpal panel's sixth meet failed.

DEHRADUN: Baba Ramdev has vowed to continue his fight against corruption and black money.

Speaking to mediamen after being discharged from hospital in Dehradun, Baba Ramdev defended his agitation against black money and reiterated his demand that all black money be brought back to the country.

Baba Ramdev taken to Dehradun for treatment

HARIDWAR: Amid high drama, yoga guru Ramdev, whose indefinite fast entered the seventh day on Friday, was shifted to a hospital in Dehradun as doctors attending on him opined that his health parameters were "worrisome". 

A Patanjali Yogapeeth spokesman claimed that the decision to shift Ramdev to a hospital was taken by Uttarakhand chief minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, who gave directions to the Haridwar district magistrate in this regard.

 HARIDWAR: The condition of Baba Ramdev, who is on a fast unto death at his ashram at Haridwar, has deteriorated further. 

Local doctors attending on him expressed concern over his health and said they have detected symptoms of dehydration as there was dearth of water in his body. 

The doctors said there was an urgent need to break Ramdev's fast immediately failing which his condition would worsen further.
